Receiving an autism evaluation or assessment report can feel overwhelming. These reports are often filled with technical language, scores, and recommendations that can be difficult to understand — especially when you’re trying to figure out what it all means for your child.

Our Parent Education & Report Review Consultations are designed to help families better understand their child’s autism evaluation in a clear, compassionate, and parent-friendly way.

During this service, we will:

• Review your child’s autism evaluation or assessment report

• Translate clinical language into plain, understandable terms

• Explain what the results mean for your child specifically

• Create individualized, easy-to-understand handouts summarizing key findings

• Discuss recommendations and realistic next steps

• Help identify appropriate supports and services

• Share relevant local or community resources when available

After reviewing the report, we meet with you for a 45–60 minute virtual consultation to walk through everything together, answer questions, and help you feel more confident moving forward.

These consultations are educational and supportive in nature and are intended to help parents better understand reports, recommendations, and options — not to provide diagnosis or treatment.
